Review: Pontian Famous Wanton Noodle

Saw what I think is a newly opened restaurant in PJ SS2 which pride themselves as the Famous Pontian Wanton Noodle Restaurant. Being ever unable to resist something new, decided to pay the restaurant a visit.

Ordered a mid-size bowl of wanton noodle with fried wanton which cost RM5.80. Here are photos of the bowl of wanton noodle with fried wanton and char siew (barbeque pork) and of the more generous wanton (in soup):

Their "highly recommended" fried wanton was a big disappointment. It is just like an oily think piece of fried prawn crackers with very little filling. I wouldn't order it again.

As for their wanton in the soup, the filling is more substantial. Other than that, did their customers gave them that "Famous" title or was it self-awarded. Would I go back to their restaurant again? Not me, no.
