Minut Init Art Studio featured in SHC Pulse

Minut Init Art Studio in Uptown has the honor of being featured in the latest issue of SHC Pulse.

Minut Init Art Gallery was described as an art gallery for emerging new artists, a "small space where magic happens".

James Ly who studied design abroad, decided to open his gallery in Uptown due to its central location and suitable SOHO enviroment.

Minut Init cozy cultural space was established in 2010 as a platform for contemporary arts where local artists such as Nizam Abdullah, Justin Lim, Dali Abdul Aziz and Mils Can have exhibited their artwork.

Ly's gallery is also a place for budding artists who want an avenue to display their artwork, learn and explore art in a community of like-minded people. The gallery exhibits all forms of art, from painting to sculptures and photography as well as host to poety reading sessions & even fashion shows as well. Drawing workshops can also be conducted for those who want to fine-tune their drawing skills. A set of drums, guitars, amplifier and speakers was also spotted in the art studio. Wondering if musicians too can get to hone their skills at Minut Init Art Studio.

The floor below Minut Init Art Studio has recently been vacated and Ly and his partners has plans to add a bar cum cafe at Minut Init so patrons can relax and enjoy a drink while perusing the walls lined with art. Ly envisage the existing art studio to be used for events.
