Review: Amos Apparel Alteration Service

There are altogether 4 apparel alteration services in Petaling Jaya that I know of, a young man running his Kelana Jaya Apparel Alteration Service on the 5 foot way of Jalan SS6/5A, then the Giant Kelana Jaya Apparel Alteration Service inside Giant Hypermarket, a stall offering alteration service at the Damansara Uptown Food Court that seemed to be always closed, and finally, the newly opened Amos Apparel Alteration and Repair Service along Jalan SS21/39.

Been trying to get the tear in my cargo pants repaired. Kelana Jaya Apparel Alteration Service said he couldn't do it because he just have a simple Singer sewing machine and could not do zig-zag stitching. Giant Kelana Jaya Apparel Alteration Service charged too much. Thus I was most happy when Amos Apparel Alteration and Repair Service offered to do it (straight stitching, no need zig-zag) at half of what Giant Kelana Jaya Alteration Service wanted. Only snag, they are so busy you can't get it done within a day. They gave a card and said will send SMS when ready for collection. I am in no hurry so that is fine with me.

Update: Finally, after 3 days, got the pants back. It was more than what I initially was told but still cheaper than what it would have cost me had I given it to the Giant stall. It was a good job done, so very satisfied.
